Fall Frenzy 2026 addition. My oh my what a year it’s been since the last one, 2025. I was in Kansas, or hell. Now I’m back in heaven, Colorado. Setting that aside, click on the above link to get the details of the MLB playoff format.
However now, even more than ever, I miss my brother, Jack. I guess, with each year that passes, the memories become fonder.
Additionally, maybe this is the year that our hopes come true … a rematch of the classic Dodger / Yankee fall classic. The Vegas odds makers’ think so.
Looking back at my time here on WordPress, I’ve posted a post each year since 2019 about the MLB Playoffs. (That link, 2019, explains our history.) Except for 2021. Don’t know why I missed that year. However, here’s a link to that postseason. I did post midseason in 2021.

This Year’s Fall Frenzy
looks similar to 2o21’s. Eight of the teams are the same! Moreover, the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox meet in the Wild Card round. However, then, it was a one game playoff. Now, it’s a best of three.
My Picks are:
I’m picking the home team to win all four Wild Card series. Atalanta Braves, SanDiego Padres, Houston Astros, and New York Yankees. Since this new format began in 2022, the team who wins game one has won 15 of the 16 series. So – todays games (all on NBC) are super important.
In the second round I’m going with: the Astros and Yankees in the American league; the Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers in the National league.
For the World Series I’m going with, YES!, the Yankees versus the Dodgers. Again. Are you watching, Jack? How does that work? Up there in Heaven. And, sorry Jack – the New York Yankees win.

In conclusion for the Fall Frenzy 2026 – I’m going with my heart. My head says different. But hey – this might be my last.
