It’s been almost 20 years and my time’s running out. YES, and – it’s happy hour Friday! ( #319) So hang in there. Pour yourself two fingers of dark whiskey, sit back, and enjoy this 8 minute video. I promise you won’t be disappointed with This Road Trip.
The Story
It was 2008, and we were heading into the presidential election of 2008. I was bouncing around between Poudre River Canyon, West Elk Creek, and Southern California. Looking for Home. Never did find it … other than a temporary place to lay my head. Still looking.
Now I’m in Loveland, Colorado. … Home number 38.

All my friends (“my people”) in the video are gone. … Some died, others just ghosted. Nevertheless, I still have hope.
Conclusion
How are you doing? What’s going on? Do you road trip? How’s the weather?
PS
Then, I was a big Obama supporter. A delegate for him. I’ve since switched “tribes” and become a Trump supporter. Oddly (maybe not) no one has touched my Trump bumper stickers. Same car, by the way. In fact, many folks whispered in my ear positive things. … Or given me a thumbs up, flashed their lights, smiled. On road trips in 2016.
Now, in Loveland (“a red dot in a sea of blue”) one person was compelled to say to me, “You’ve got some shit on your car.” I thought he meant bird shit. He pointed to my bumper. I said, “Thank you.”
So, some things have changed. Some have not. Maybe we’re all just buying time. Rainbows haven’t changed. They’re still beautiful and mysterious. Despite The Science. Hang in there. I’m rooting for you. 🙂
