It’s January 25, Sunday, 11:30, 2026; and the AFC Championship game is in Colorado and so am I. I’ve come home. However, my stuff’s still in hell. Err, I mean Kansas.
Additionally, it’s cold outside! Eighteen degrees with some snow flurries floating down. I’ve decided to stay home in my new, near empty apartment. No local corner sports bar for me. Not yet.
And so I’m sitting on the floor in the corner, with some pillows and an Afghan throw. I feel good, having lit a candle to keep Defiance warm, if not darn right hot.
Defiance is home again and so am I
Anyways, I’m listening to 98.5 TheSportsHub talk on my phone. Out of Boston. They’re predicting a Patriot, easy win- 30-13. Ha!
I’m predicting a Bronco victory. Not easy, but close with the home team pulling it out in the fourth quarter. Denver wins 24-21.
It’s my homecoming! I’ve got beer in the fridge, whiskey in the cupboard, and pizza in the freezer.
Let’s go Broncos! Bring it home- the AFC Championship game in Colorado. Don’t bring me down off this very, very nice feeling.
Election 2016, is my fifth book. Like the others it deals with the intersection of politics and personality. This blog addresses the overall wellbeing of the personal and political. From a unique psychological, evolutionary, and personal perspective it combines history, geography, and fiction in an attempt to get close to reality.
Regarding Myers-Briggs I score as ESTJ, Thinking being the highest score. The type is labeled, Executive. All of that makes sense considering my life's history. But there have been problems. Due to the fact I'm a freedom-loving freak - for you as well as me. I'm no boss.
I love honesty & independence and hate sloth & pretension. But, suit yourself.
Regarding OCEAN, I score highest on Openness and lowest on Agreeableness - which agrees with Myers-Briggs.
My writing is experimental - meaning it is not formulaic, or, not for mass consumption. Warning: Read at your own risk.

Bad decisions by the coach. So it ends. Emblematic of human history. Hubris? Too reliant on analytics? Typical. Cheers, that’s what the whiskey’s for.

I really WAS rooting for the Broncos to win even though I’m not a Bronco’s fan. Damn snow did them in during the fourth quarter.
So sad. It’s-9 degrees here now. Cold.
