The Epstein Case is nothing extraordinary

The Epstein case is nothing extraordinary, just a postmodern version of what has been going on since primates emerged on this great earth.

postmodern evolution

Let’s get into it.

Powerful men

or powerful primates, or pretty much any mammal, like to have fun. And there’s nothing more fun than hanging out in a crowd and showing off just how special you are. Furthermore, nothing says special like giving the impression you’re boinking the choicest of females. Which happen to be young, healthy, pretty females. Moreover, it doesn’t matter if you are or are not. What matters is that your peers think you are.

That’s what’s going on here with the Epstein case. However, in the postmodern world we live in–that’s a problem.

The Problem

is everybody, not just your rival peers, can see what you’re doing. Because of the Internet and social media, the Connected Global Community (CGC). You’ve been exposed for who really are – a male trying to be a “big man”. Little men don’t like that. Additionally, a lot of women don’t like that, regardless of their status. That, little men and most women, adds up to a Majority of people. At least in America.

This is why the Epstein case won’t go away. The Majority would like to see big men taken down. Subsequently, they move up. The peopled-world, indeed all social systems, function within an hierarchy.

Denial

is one of dozen or so ego defenses mechanisms. In fact, one of most effective and pervasive. Therefore, few will admit to what I’m saying. Even if they’re aware of it. To do so would bring the whole thing down. The “thing” being that which allows us (humans) to dominate the planet. We need the hierarchy. We need “big men”. Because social systems need leaders. Therefore, we will put up with their flaws, so long as they are our leaders, our quarterback. The leader of our team (tribe).

In Conclusion

the Epstein case is nothing extraordinary. It just seems that way because there is more noise now. More people yelling and screaming about injustice and how unfair things have been. Otherwise – they might have been a “big man.”
